Abstract :

The objective of this paper is to review briefly principles of Sustainable Landscape practices. Sustainability of is a goal with multiple dimensions and implications. The overriding principle of sustainable landscape design is creating garden that conserves resources. The typical landscape requires many inputs: time, money, labor, water, chemicals and ferlilizers.Our landscape also produces waste such as trimmings ,pollution run off from chemicals and fertilizers and water lost by evaporation.

The concept of sustainable landscape or conservation landscape, minimized inputs and harmful outputs at the same time, maximizing useful outputs from our landscape. Applying the sustainable landscape principles can save our time and money and create a landscape that is environmentally responsible. Sustainable landscaping is defined as landscaping with consideration towards the balance of the local climate, minimal resource consumption, the avoidance of toxic chemicals and conservation of water.

Or in other wards it allows Eco conscience landscapes, with minimum the environmental impact without sacrificing luxurious outdoor living while reducing the need of nonrenewable
